BACKGROUND AND ORGANIZATION

The Research Program on Digital Innovation, Platforms, and Strategy uses quantitative analysis of large data sets and field experiments to study how to optimize the design of large-scale knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship platforms. RPDIES brings together methods from social and behavioral sciences, management, and applied sciences (particularly data science, computer science, and engineering).

This research model relies on building data science, digital infrastructure and platform capabilities and supporting external research partner organizations in doing so. The model is largely staffed with professionally experienced and technically trained graduate students from Northeastern University across engineering, data science, business, economics, computers science, and information systems.
